Get Ready for a Second Helping of "The X Factor"
If you've enjoyed the first season of the hit show "The X Factor," it looks like you have a lot to look forward to.
Today, FOX announced they have ordered a second season of the live, music talent show.
“I am absolutely thrilled with the news,” said Simon Cowell. “I have loved making the show and I want to thank FOX, our sponsors and most importantly, the fans for supporting THE X FACTOR.”
“THE X FACTOR is a monumental success,” said Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. “It’s won every night it’s been on the air, the talent is phenomenal, the live shows are spectacular and picking it up is a complete no-brainer. Simon and his team have done an incredible job with the show, and I’m absolutely thrilled to bring back THE X FACTOR for another fantastic season.”
"The X Factor" has been the number one reality show on television this fall, beating out shows such as Dancing with The Stars, Survivor, Biggest Loser and Amazing Race.
Averaging more than 13 million viewers a night, the show has been a hit and now as it enters live shows, it hopes to get even better and gain more viewers.
Tonight, however things get really interesting.
For the first time fans will be able to vote for their favorite top 12 finalist. The 2 hour long episode airs live tonight at 7pm. Then fans will be able to vote following the episode and find out the results tomorrow night at 7pm. Right here on FOX KRBK.
